With the school holidays almost over here in New South Wales, it’s time to start looking for a dance studio, not only for your children but for you as well. Dance is a fantastique way of keeping yourself fit and meeting new people. Dance Headquarters East Maitland are now settled in their brand new studio. They are located at 23-25 Chifley Street in East Maitland.
New studio for East Maitland Dance Headquarters
Dance Headquarters East Maitland will be running adult classes this year in Burlesque and tap. The ladies tap classes will be held on Monday evenings at 6pm and the ladies Burlesque classes at 7pm, both classes will have the very talented Pam Cramp as the teacher.
Pam Cramp is the owner and Principal at EMDQ and has been running studios and teaching on the Central Coast of NSW and now in East Maitland successfully for 28 years.

Pam’s teaching repertoire includes:
- Burlesque
- Cabaret & Musical Theatre
- Choreography
- Adjudication
- AASCF Cheer Coach, just to name a few.
Pam also runs her own eisteddfod each January & April.The Ritz & Glitz Dance Challenge is held in the Hunter Valley. This allows young dancers to compete in the Hunter’s most prestigious and reputable competition that has a wonderful family friendly atmosphere.
I had the pleasure of being at the Ritz & Glitz Dance Challenge, where I was able to display my fans. Over the ten days of the eisteddfod, you couldn’t help but notice how much love and respect Pam holds for her students and their parents. It was a lovely atmosphere, the students always congratulating each other and the competitors from other dance studios on their performances. The parents and staff were willing to lend a hand, whether it be in the canteen or entertaining the competitors outside of the hall during the improv sections of the competition.

Unfortunately DHEM isn’t open any more and at this point I’m not sure what classes are being offered elsewhere.
